This track is real smooth and laid back. Lowell based Producer, Realentlis introduced me to the music of Lyrical and Shizzy through soundcloud and I was really diggin this track the most.
I have never heard of this guy before but I can say he's good at his craft. This is some powerful poetry. If anyone has any idea who he is put me on or have him contact me. firstname.lastname@example.org
A fine example of the magic of boom bap with classic cuts and wordplay! This track is sure to rock any party whether SLiM PiCKENS performs it live or a DJ Spins the record.
Such a relaxed vibe with lyricism and a smooth flow over a soulful harmony. This track from Bakari JB is from his recent album "Fear & Desire".
It's hard to call this production and artistry anything short of incredible. Absolutely classic! That term is often used too loosely to describe sub par music but it's music like this that brings about a certain nostalgia of early to mid 90's Hip Hop. It takes you back but when you listen to the lyrics it takes you forward. This particular track is off Paranom's forthcoming album titled "Life Outside The Frame" produced entirely by Purpose.

Iraq war veteran Denis Reynoso was murdered in his home by Lynn Police. The police had entered Mr Reynosos home without a warrant where there is no guns or drugs or anything illegal, yet make the claim that Mr. Reynoso attempted to grab an officers gun in a struggle inside the home. So they shot him in front of his young son. Hold on, lets rewind that....They entered the home and claimed Mr. Reynoso tried to grab an officers gun during a struggle. There are missing pieces of the puzzle and those pieces are in the minds of the officers who were present.
Here's a few questions I have:
How and why did the police enter the home? How did the altercation occur? Why did they feel they had to shoot him instead of using non lethal force? Is there an investigation taking place independent of the department that is under investigation?
This is a service member of the military who believed his service was to protect the rights of people in America. This is not only tragic but it raises many questions as to how is this method of policing actually protecting and serving the people? This whole story is disturbing and I can't even imagine the pain his family and friends must feel. As a human being I know this isn't right.
